Pretoria – This long weekend sees the SupaDrift National Championship series back at Zwartkops in Pretoria for the first time in two years. After a strong showing at Supadrift 02 in Kimberley, Clare Vale is looking forward to another good performance at this round.
Clare will be debuting the highly anticipated #86Liqui-Moly Subaru BRZ drift car. The new car is very different to the much loved Liqui Moly Mustang, but its light weight nimbleness should prove to be a winner. The event is over the long weekend so expect a festival atmosphere and enthusiastic local crowds.
Clare Vale on the event: ”We were hoping to start the season with the new car, but we were waiting for parts shipments and will now debut the #86LiquiMoly at the Zwartkops event. It’s been an interesting challenge, getting used to the flat four turbo power of the little BRZ as opposed to the massive V8 torque of the Mustang, but I’m confident the new car will become a little drift star! Zwartkops should be an ideal first event for us and the whole Liqui Moly team is looking forward to it.”
