Port Elizabeth – This weekend saw the First Lady, Clare Vale pick up the winner’s trophy in the Silver Cup section of the final round of the SupaDrift Series. Port Shepstone – Round 4 of the SupaDrift Championship saw Clare Vale travelling to the Dezzi Circuit in Port Shepstone with her V8 powered Liqui-Moly Mustang. The Liqui-Moly team had worked hard to modify the car’s front suspension after the problems picked up at the Zwartkops round, and a quick test on the Thursday night before the event was encouraging.
Pretoria – This weekend saw Clare Vale travel to Zwartkops Raceway for round 3 of this season’s SupaDrift championship. She was hoping to debut her Liqui-Moly Subaru BRZ but electronic issues put a damper on that plan, and she tackled the circuit with the Liqui-Moly V8 Mustang instead.
Pretoria – This long weekend sees the SupaDrift National Championship series back at Zwartkops in Pretoria for the first time in two years. After a strong showing at Supadrift 02 in Kimberley, Clare Vale is looking forward to another good performance at this round.
Pretoria – This Sunday the 22nd of June saw 12 karts racing for a good cause at the Zwartkops International kart circuit. Twelve corporate teams came together to help raise funds for the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre. Teams from Tata Africa Holdings SA, Tata Automotives Corporation SA, Tata Accordian Investments SA (Pty) Ltd, Jaguar Land Rover, RAM Automotive, Liqui-Moly, two from Bridgestone SA and three teams from naming rights partner for the event – Kiehl’s SA. The Kiehl’s Charity Cheetah Karting Day was the most successful event held as yet: over R45,000.00 was raised for the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre!
